About us
We’re Nat and Lizzy, a couple and photography duo based in Northamptonshire. We met at college studying photography and have been photographing professionally for almost a decade.
We love the intimacy of boudoir, and we’re drawn to photographs that feel soft and a little darker, with a bit of drama to them.
We’re both pretty relaxed and really enjoy getting to know the people we photograph. We’ve heard “I feel quite sad that we might not see you again” quite a few times now, and it’s always lovely to hear. Knowing someone enjoyed spending time with us means a lot.

Most women who book boudoir have never done anything like it, and nearly all of them are sure they're "not photogenic". Here's the thing: photogenic is mostly good light and someone telling you exactly what to do. That's our job, not yours.

Say hello

Get it in the diary
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, we’ll find a date that works for you and get it booked in. If you’ve got questions about outfits or anything else before then, just message us.

Choose your outfits
When you arrive, we’ll look through everything you’ve brought and help you pick the outfits that’ll work best. Then we get shooting.

We’ll guide you
Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before. We’ll guide you the whole way through, so you’re never left questioning what to do.

The reveal
After your shoot, we’ll sit down together and go through your photos one at a time to find your favourites. Then we edit and retouch the ones you’ve chosen.
FAQs

Yes. Almost everyone thinks that. Being "photogenic" is mostly good light and someone telling you exactly what to do, and that's our job.

Not at all. Most women who book boudoir haven't. You don't need any modelling experience, just a few outfits and the nerve to press send.

Only what you want to. Some women stay in lingerie the whole time, others like to try a few implied shots. It's always your choice, and you can change your mind on the day.

Totally fair, and we'd much rather you asked. Lizzy is at every session, you're never on your own with Nat, and you're welcome to chat to both of us before you book anything.

Most of us have a bit we'd rather hide. Tell us on the call or on the day and we'll work with it, using light, shadow and the right angles.

Not at the moment, so come with your hair and makeup done just how you like it.

We’d ask you not to bring a friend or partner to the shoot itself. It can throw the whole session off, and it can make you feel more self-conscious.
They’re very welcome to come to the viewing, though.
